Stage 1 - Overview

The Pre-Draft Stage of the County Development Plan Review process is made up of four phases:

  1. Pre-Draft Public Consultation – submissions will be accepted from members of the public and prescribed stakeholders.
  2. Prepare Chief Executive’s Report on Consultation – the Chief Executive will prepare a report on any submissions received during this period and will submit this report to the Elected Members for their consideration.
  3. Directions from Members on Draft Plan – The Members may issue directions to the Chief Executive regarding the preparation of the Draft Development Plan.
  4. Preparation of Draft County Development Plan 2023-2029 will then commence.
